ciroccojDid the Recs announcements this morning after waking up, then sent a couple of fics to Remember Me, a fanfic archive for Characters of Colour (CoCs for short - hee). I have no idea why it didn't occur to me to do this before, because I'd gone to their L&O website and seen only Cassatt's and ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tobiascharity's Ed Green stories there. Which I loved, but which I'd already read. And I remember thinking gee, why aren't there more stories here? Somebody should write more L&O stories for this site.
Hello, McFly? Rey Curtis? Makes up about 90% of my stories? Lovely tan complexion? And yet the dots just didn't connect for me untilbear drew a nice thick dark line for me.
So I asked if they wanted any stories, and they said yes, and I sent a couple of fairly old ones. After I get my act together I'll probably send them a few more. Right now I've bookmarked their Voyager site - all Chakotay, Kim, and Tuvok, all the time. ::happysigh::

1) Who should play you in a movie about your life? Somebody with a bad agent, because it wouldn't be a terribly exciting movie :) Oh! One of the Repeat Offenders on Law & Order. Some of them seem to really need the work.
2) What do you use to wash your hair? Aussie.
3) Your face? Dove.
4) Who's your favorite Golden Girl? Blanche.
5) Do you know how to play poker? I've learned a bunch of times, but it never sticks.
6) What class did you cut the most in high school? I once skipped a history class in protest... and my French teacher always skipped class so we didn't have to go...
7) Invite 3 people to dinner: Gosh. Bill Moyers, Walter Cronkite, and the guy in my Jewish history class who always left me open-mouthed at his eloquence. And then sit back and listen.
8) Favorite incense flavor: Sage.
9) Age you first shaved: Probably about 16. Before then I waxed. Ouch.
10) What color nail polish are you wearing right now? Don't wear nail polish. Not girly enough.
11) Coolest animal you've seen up close: A polar bear at the Calgary Zoo. It was leaning up against the plexiglass, and that was all that was separating us.
12) Favorite stand up comedian: Elvira Kurtz :) or Stephen Wright.
14) First letter or digit of your license plate: 5.
15) Describe your dream wedding: The one I had. Relatively small, made up our own vows, at the gazebo at the waterfront in Kingston. And we walked in together.
16) First store you run to at the mall: The bookstore.
17) Ever been to a strip club? Nope.
18) Do you wear a watch? Yes. Although I didn't own one for 12 years.
19) Do you know how to tie a tie? Nope.
20) Ever see a UFO? Other than on The X-Files, no.
21) Cooking fiasco: I once tried to make a pie where the filling was leftover strawberry soufle mix. It was grey and runny. I still ate it out of stubborn pride.
22) Thoughts on Eminem: Eh. I know how to say four-letter words too.
23) Do you own any diamonds? Two little stud earrings, given to me by me parents for high school graduation.
24) What do you carry with you at all times? At all times? Nothing. Not even my wallet.
25) Ever smoke a cigar? Ick.
26) Do you snore? I don't think so.
27) Talk in your sleep? Nope.
28) Gum- fruity or minty? Fruity. Banana flavour is best.
29) How do you drive? Used to drive too fast.
30) Can you drive stick? Yup.
31) Best Elvis song: In the Ghetto.
32) What do you miss most about being little? Not a lot. I had a lousy childhood.
33) Whom would you call to bail you out of jail? Chris or my mom.
