Dinner and a Movie
Jul. 30th, 2004 08:11 pmTonight's movie was Mulan. Tonight's dinner was pizza for the boys, lettuce (from our garden) and pork & bean stew (for me and Chris). I also made up Taj Tabouleh, buffalo-style green beans and feta-and-veggie stuffed zucchini for us, for tomorrow. All three amazing recipes from WW (run don't walk to the site, Sarah. They're good. IMHO, anyway. Edit: Oops, tabouli recipe is from a book. Too bad. Best of the lot.)
Oh, and the tabouli included green onions and tomatoes from our garden, the beans were from our garden, and the zucchini was from our garden. I feel all pioneerish ;)
Justin is playing the piano. Or rather, playing on the piano. I should look into piano lessons some day.
Today he was picking out notes for a while and when he was done he came wandering into the kitchen, where I was chopping green. "Did that sound sad?" he asked. I looked at him curiously, not knowing why he was asking that. "That was a little song about Luli being dead. Did it sound sad?"
God, what do you say to that?
