Back from choir. Wiped. Our piano is out of tune, and it's rather excruciating. The first sopranos were out of tune today too, which was even more excruciating, especially since Kurt took it in his head to practice the sections on their own and we had, no exaggeration, about six sections with high Gs sustained for two whole bars. NOT pretty. The other sections were looking quite pained, and I'm sure we gave the neighbourhood dogs the screaming heebie-jeebies.

What am I saying - we were the screaming heebie-jeebies.

The first song... nah. Can't go into it. Maybe after I'm done the Law Review stuff. Let's just say that a beautiful piece of music, written after September 11, meant to be sung at funerals or Rememberance Day ceremonies, hit just a little too close. It was the kind of music I think my mother would have loved. And the fact that it was the kind of religious/spiritual that touched us both... yeah, well. More religious mulling.

No time for that right now, even though I may be staying up a liiittle late tonight. I refuse to go to bed until the Law Review application is done, and until I've printed out my Drafting assignment. Damn, I better get into the Law Review. I'll be crushed livid in deep despair rather disappointed if I don't.

Oh, and I sure hope my VCR is taping the L&O premiere, or I'm going to be bloody pissed somewhat peeved about that too.
