flotsam and jetsam
Sep. 25th, 2004 09:57 pmSo Chris has put the boys to bed and has asked me to come get him at 10. 9:55 rolls along, and he stumbles out of the boys' bedroom and into the study, and stares at me with horror.
"What are you DOING?" he asks.
"... I'm on the computer?"
"It's FOUR in the MORNING!" he says, quite scandalized.
"What?!"
He lurches towards me, looks at the screen where the time display says 9:55PM.
"Oh. I didn't have my glasses on when I looked at the clock," he says.
Let's all point and laugh, shall we?

Justin's first ballet class today. He's outgrown his last pair of slippers, so we go to get him new ones. I come home and Justin runs to show them to Chris, who hides his gut reaction from Justin but mouths at me "They're WHITE?!" (His old ones were black, and fairly boyish as ballet slippers go).
"He wanted pink," I murmur. Chris' eyebrows shoot up.
"Thank you!" he mouths back.

Eventful day. Managed to get in ballet, slipper shopping, cleaning, D&D, and dinner with Guy, and still got a bit more of my readings done. And my ADR assignment.

Going to a mini-high school reunion of sorts on Monday. Two people I haven't seen in about 15 years, one of them one of my best friends from high school. It's so strange how completely you can lose touch with the people who once shaped your life.
