(no subject)

It's frigging hot. Currently 25C, which is not that bad, but humid and still. Yuck. Which makes it even more special that I'm (TMI alert!) two weeks into the Period From Hell. Seems to be finally tapering off though.

Came back from The Cottage, fun for everybody but me as usual. Chris came back from call fairly late and I think he was a little out of it, because when I realized I'd left my toothbrush at the cabin and asked if we had any spare toothbrushes, he answered, "My car keys are on the hook, hon."

Good thing he's on vacation as of tonight.

Finished Passage. Not quite as bad as I thought it would be, although I don't think I'll be recommending it to Chris. He's got an allergy to angsty books. It's a real measure of his love and devotion to me that he's read any of my stuff at all ;)

Oh and thanks so much, bear! It was such a lovely thing to come back to, after a looong drive back - chapter 3 all freshly beta'd in my inbox! Whee!!
