::giggling:: I think I muse be the victim of identity theft. And frankly, whoever has my identity can keep it.

I just called Mastercard to find out my balance. I guess I must have paid one of my bills twice back in September, and then just not used my card very much, because I kept getting statements with "credit" on them, and "no payment is due at this time". After a couple of months, I decided to do something about it - no sense sitting on a huge credit, that doesn't get me any interest, and spending money from our other accounts, which we could get interest on. So I did all my Christmas shopping on the card, didn't really think about how much I was spending, and just prepared to get a real bill this month.

Well, December came and no bill. The payment date came and no bill. I don't want to go from a huge credit to a huge debit that starts charging me interest, so I call them today. And... I've still got plenty of credit. About half of what it was, but I still don't have to pay anything.

I can't understand this. How can I do all my Christmas shopping on this thing and still have credit left over?

Must be an identity thief with poor math skills.

In other news, apparently, Chris has the same damn bug that me and the kids had. Ick. He asked if I would mind coming to the hospital to take care of him. "I'm sure the patients won't mind," he said, "I'll just say, Hi, come on in, I'm sick, this is my wife, she's going to feed me soup. Start talking."
