Doing a little better today, and thanks to all of you for hugs and support. Somehow we survived the weekend, though it wasn't one of our best and things are still pretty shaky. Hopefully we'll get through the next three calls and a screwed-up Easter without too much trouble. Life plods on.

Back at school today, working on my notes and hopefully starting my legislation paper. I'm supposed to track a law from conception to Governor General's signature. Yee ha. I'm so excited I could just... snore.

Finished making Justin a stuffed unicorn yesterday. Apparently he and his friend Gillian have been having some sort of friendly rivalry about unicorns and My Pet Pony. I don't know the details, except that at one point they got into a fight over them, but then made up. Or rather, I assume they made up because Justin told me he's going to marry Gillian and that means he'll have a wedding. Having recently found out that weddings involve a lot of good food, he's very eager to have one ASAP.

Anyway. Dropped Justin off at the day care this morning and the first thing he did was show Gillian his unicorn. She gave him a thumbs-up, and he basked in her approval.

Went to see GyneGuy for the last time this morning. I've been given the thumbs-up from him too, and am now cleared for take-off. Apparently TMI )

Anyway, I told him I was feeling much better and I was glad I'd had the surgery, and I kind of wished I'd had it done sooner. He smiled and said, "No, well, the most important thing is to be ready up here" (taps his head) "and you weren't. You had to do it when you were ready."

See, this is why I like GyneGuy.

Final Contracts class. I am now trying to decipher a classmate's Legislation notes for the classes I missed, and getting nowhere mighty fast. Her first sentence is: Restrictive: functions like a descriptive phrase that/which/no pune?

So I'm taking a little brain break before going off to pick up Justin.

Cutesey moment in Contracts: Prof finishes teling us about a case. Student asks a question about it. Prof answers. Student says, "That sucks."

Prof smiles. "Well, I can't wait to hear your Appeals Court decisions. 'I hereby find in favour of the appellant because the respondent's argument sucks.'"
