I've been off lj for a few days, just too busy with other stuff. So today I took a quick peek around, and somehow ended up link-hopping my way to this:

http://www.livejournal.com/users/spike_phoenix/191394.html

Starting partway down the page, at this quote:

Me: hehh! America/Canada OTP.
Me: really.
She: totally.
Me: Like, America is all 'grr!! angsty!!!' and Canada's like 'take a hit of this and chill the fuck out, baby'
Me: And sometimes, when things get all wild, America, Canada, and England pile in a bed and do things that they'll never talk about in polite company. The sort of things that England is too proper to even give an actual name to
She: *cackles* it's true. america/canada/england ot3

... and continuing into the comments.

Later Edit: And it's mildly ironic considering what my iconbubbledude was doing in my last post. But that's just him. Me, I was just high on life :)

...to say Happy Thanksgiving to those of you of the American persuasion, wherever you may be :)

Beavers getting a tour of the local fire station. A fireman is telling them that if their pet dies, they can always go to the pet store and get a new one (which, BTW, eep. Don't know about his pets, but ours would not be that easily replaceable). "But," he tells them, "if you died in a fire, your mom and dad couldn't just get a new kid to replace you."

"Why?" asks one of the Beavers.

"Because there aren't any kid stores," the fireman says.

"Did there used to be?" asks the kid.
