You know, it is absolutely not fair

that no matter how long I play solitaire, my Env paper simply refuses to make any progress writing itself.

Yes, I am spamming tonight. This morning. Today. Whatever.

Because my essay is in six parts:

PART I: INTRODUCTION
PART II: NONE SO BLIND
PART III: THOSE WHO CAN LEARN
PART IV: LATE LESSONS FROM EARLY WARNINGS
PART V: SAME PLANET, DIFFERENT WORLDS
PART VI: CONCLUSION

And I just totally, utterly, completely finished, so that I only need to do a spellcheck and basic final footnote-run through... wait for it... PART II.

And it's 3:45am.

Three parts down...

... three more to go.

four parts down...

... two to go. It's 8:00am and still pitch dark here in Calgary, but the kids are waking up. They should - it's 10am, Ottawa time. Lazy little buggers.

Done all my footnotes. Only have my conclusion and final looksee. Then I am free, free, free.

Taking a little break, I go to a site where people write all of their favourite LOTR quotes (you know, "DEATH!!", "I am no MAN!!", "For Frodo", etc). I must be more sleep deprived than I thought, because this nearly makes me lose it:
