And in the cold sober light of day ... still sending good thoughts and wishes for brilliant insights. Doing this from home while waiting for the furnace guys to replace the furnace. When it's -16C outside and the furnace going full blast can't get the room above 12C, it's time to get a new furnace.

Well they managed to get the new one around the sharp corners and down the basement stairs so I guess it should be pretty straightforward from here. But we'll see. I'm of the "anything that can go wrong, will go wrong" school of life.
