Day 3: 23,000 words this time...

Today's highlights: Disney's California Adventure for most of the day, quick trip to Downtown Disney to buy me a fleece sweater because I was soaked and freezing, then back to Disneyland near the end of the evening. Along the way: many more rides, the discovery that Justin is a total speed freak, and pictures of various Mickey statues decorated by non-Disney folks. This is in honour of Disneyland's 50th birthday - the statues will eventually be auctioned off for charity. (Esp note the cop Mickey, #16, second last row, last picture - Chris called him the L&O Mickey - and lonejaguar, note the last picture of the set, on page 2 ;)

Oh - and the folder is Vacation 2, password still 'vacation.'

Justin fell asleep in the car again. Daniel almost did the same. They woke up long enough to eat a small dinner, then fell right back to sleep again. I'm going to join them right n::snore::

Day 4

First thing Justin says today: "How old am I?" (holds up five fingers)

At breakfast at the hotel today, I get up from our table at the same time as the woman sitting at the table next to us. On the way to the buffet, I hear a couple of the employees talking in the kitchen area. I poke my head in and say, in Spanish, "I think you're out of orange juice." They nod and one of them heads to the back of the kitchen, presumably to get more juice.

"Is that all the bagels you have?" asks the woman who was sitting next to us, slightly annoyed tone and look on her face.

I look at her, a little confused, and say something clever like, "Huh?"

"The bagels," she points at the bagel bin, then sort of stops herself and looks at me more closely. "Oh - you don't work here, do you?"

"Um, no, I don't."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Um, sorry, sorry about that..." and she walks off, looking a little embarrassed, "Don't know why I thought you did..."

Um... I think I do ;)
