Well, it's distinctly odd to be doing this again, but I'm writing fanfic. It's not Law & Order right now, though I've still got a few pieces that simmered on a back burner for a long time, finally started to dry out, and were stuffed into Ziploc bags and stored in the deep freeze in hopes of reviving them some day.

But I'm currently writing Harry Potter. Who knew. This one is currently approaching four chapters. Beta!

bear has been doing her amazing thwapping with the pointy stick thing, so some day I ~~may~~ will actually post this somewhere ficlike, but for now it's only here.

Not sure who on my flist (other than

bear and

snarkhunter and

leaper182) regularly reads HP fic, but in case anyone wants to take a look, here you go. It's set post-War, about twenty years after Hogwarts. And, despite

bear's skillful and impassioned advocacy for slashsmuttiness, it's PG-rated and has pretty much no pairings, slash or otherwise. Sorry!

Any suggestions/comments/quibbles are very welcome, though not, of course, required :)
