Frenchify!
Sep. 13th, 2005 11:04 pmAujourd'hui est notre jour de français. Daniel l'appelle "Frenchify". Alors pendant tout le matin, on parle en français. C'est bien plus difficile de le faire quand on n'a pas travaillé en français pendant des années, mais ce n'est pas si difficile que tous ça parce que j'étais dans l'Université tout le lundi, et alors je suis dans un milieu ou il y a beacoup des gens partout qui parlent en français.
Zut alors. C'est bien tannant, essayer d'écrire en savant que la moitié de tous ce que j'écrit a des erreurs d'ortographie ou grammatique. Je ne sais même pas si on dit grammatique ou grammaire. Mes accents sont partous, je ne sais jamais si je doit finir mes mots avec s ou t, et mes masculins et feminins sont tous des transexuels/elles.

Well. That took about fifteen minutes. I should do this more often, if only to show myself that my written French sucks.
So yeah, it was Frenchify Day today. We gamely tried to conduct our home schooling in French as much as possible. Only for the morning, of course, since Justin comes home at 11:00 and doesn't speak much French yet. Interesting little exercise.
On the menu for tomorrow: science day. And a lot of biking around - to the bank, to the library, and to the park. And I'll bring my Law Review articles and my Labour Law Textbook of Doom, both of which I got yesterday, to work on while we're at the park. We might even stop by Dairy Queen. Should be fun :)
