Winterland

OK, you know what? It can stop snowing any day now. I have no idea how much of the white stuff has fallen on us in the last few days, but right now the fence that divides our back yard from our neighbour's is almost gone, our garden boxes have disappeared - haven't seen the sandbox in weeks - our picnic table is a mere suggestion and our little apple tree is a bunch of pathetic little twigs. Oh and the cars resemble igloos with side mirrors.

CBC weather says Tonight..Snow at times heavy. Snow mixed with ice pellets this evening. Snow and ice pellet amount 15 to 25 cm. Blowing snow. Wind northeast 40 km/h gusting to 60. Low minus 10.

Enough already, 'K? Or I'm gonna start looking for a wardrobe and see if I can pull a lion out of it and get rid of this stuff.



...actually, it's not so bad. Rather annoying, but impressive as hell. We've been hunkered down for a few days as one event after another after another has been cancelled (work, choir, Spanish class, Beavers, dentist, etc), but as long as we've still got out internet connection, board games, Little House on the Prairie and Harry Potter and a steady supply of food, we'll live :)
