Not sure just how much snow the Ottawa valley received in the last couple days, but here's what it looks like at my house:

Apple tree

Front yard

Picnic table

Fence

Cars

I just got similar photos from my parents back east. Looks about the same there. And it's 65° F here...

Hee. I went outside yesterday and went "HOLY FUCK! Someone stole my truck right out of the driveway!" But no. It was definetely *under the snow*. Full size pickup truck. Complete gonzers. I forgot about the weather predictions and parked between our barns, which drifted over in epic proportions. Fun, though!

Okay, my response to this would be "cool!" I love this sort of stuff. I'd cheerfully sit by the window and embroider and get all googly over the wonder of it all.

However, I do not get cabin fever. And I'm not in a house with anyone else who gets itchy under these circumstances.

This is what it was like at my house -- and you can freaking HAVE it. I'll take the Oregon rain, thankyouverymuch.

Yeah, I'd be happy as a pig in... well, as a pig in a warm house with lots of cool weather outside too, but the boys were kinda driving us up the wall after a while. I think I would've been able to cope if I didn't have a paper due. We were OK during the first snowstorm, but then the weekend came and I was all out of patience and low on happy and myeah. Not so good.

Still very cool to look at, though :)

*jaw drops*

I am *so* glad that I am not living anywhere where it snows. Hooray for merry old England!

Hooray!

Yeah, I wouldn't mind being there right now either ;)

Yup. That's how I remember Ottawa. Lovely pictures. Prefer the relatively snow-free state of affairs here. Although, the rain does make one slightly homicidal by February!

Hee. I thought of you, actually, and wondered if you'd heard about our little 32 inches in 4 days storms, and felt grateful to miss the joy ;)

If it makes you feel any better we have a rainfall warning now, the ???th so far this winter and we should get about 50mm of rain in less than 24 hours. The thing is, when I heard that, I thought 'hey, that's not so much!'. I may be permanently soggy now!

Hee - thanks!

And yeah. 32 inches in four days. That's a lot of snow, even for us :)
