Jun. 11th, 2008 05:59 pm- One of my fellow students in the Professional Skills class looks like a pom-pom. Picture a guy with hair about two inches long, with every strand sticking out perfectly perpendicular from his head. It's incredibly bizarre.
- Played Dress-up and Pretend today. Did a roleplay where I was supposed to be an articling student who goes to meet a prospective client for my firm. Would love to tell y'all all about it. Cannot. Have been told that

Failure to adhere to this paragraph may regarded as "Licensing Dishonesty" under s. 42(4) of the 2008 Licensing Process Policies. - I think it's OK to disclose that yesterday one of my classmates noted that our prof bears an uncanny resemblance to Jack McCoy.
- Was feeling all happy about wearing my business suit (and lipstick!) and tried hard not to think too much about the fact that depending where I get an articling position, this may become my attire all the time. I know I'll have to forego the jeans & t-shirt look, but really hope I go somewhere that's business-casual as opposed to Heels & Full Face-Paint or Die.
There's worse fates, I know. Still. I'd much rather work in a place where being comfortable is not a crime. It's the whole "what's inside that counts" thing, you know?
