RIP Paul Newman

Think my favourite memory of him (other than his roles in The Sting and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) is from when he was nominated for the... sixth (?) time for an Oscar and he was asked how he felt about having been nominated so many times and never getting it. He said something like, "Well, you know, it's like pursuing a beautiful woman for thirty years. At some point she might turn to you and say, 'I'm ready now, come, take me...' and you'll probably just answer, 'No thanks, I'm tired.'"
