On Monday we were looking forward to Thanksgiving but a little wistful, as it looked it like it might be just the four of us celebrating. It is now Friday, and we are now looking at cooking for 18 people tomorrow - nine grownups and nine kids, four vegetarians. And I have discovered the existence of chicken-flavoured veggie broth.
