Historic D & D event at our home today:

There are two girls playing. Kids come and go into and out of the club, and we have had one regular female member for the last... I dunno, five years or so? But only one at a time. So there was never any overlap and thus never two girls playing, ever. And today, there is :D :D :D

Scouts Pancake breakfast and auction today too. Of the nine pancake breakfasts we've attended since Daniel was a Beaver, I must say, this was hands-down the very, very, very best. Why? Because our boys are old enough that, although they had to get to the breakfast at the crack 'o dawn just like every other year, they were able to get up, make breakfast, and walk down to the church on their own. We woke up at 9AM. WHEEEE!!

Empty nest

Wow that was a big group. Seven kids playing D&D, which in Canada in winter means this:

Wish I'd had more fruit though. It all disappeared, as did the eight bags of popcorn.
