State of the distance

So, if I'm right and the distance from our house to the intersection is 800m, I can do 3.2km in around 23 minutes. So I've got about a month to shave 5 minutes off that time.

If my calculations are wrong and it's actually farther than 800m, I may be able to do it and survive.

If my calculations are wrong and it's actually 600m, I am very dead.

We'll see this Saturday after the mock physical.

Really wish we were doing the test near the end of December, when black belt tests have always been scheduled before. Losing about six weeks of prep time may make this impossible :(



Ah well, if we can't do it in October we'll do it with Chris next June :)
