Already cleaned the house yesterday for D & D, so today is a very Zen Thanksgiving. Justin and I did our run this morning before Chris woke up, Chris and Justin are leisurely making the turkey, stuffing, gravy, and rootvegdishes, I'm making the pies and cranberry sauce, Daniel is doing homework and chatting on the phone with his friends, the kitten is feeling better, loads of laundry have been done, changed the cover of the couch so it looks like we have a new couch, went looking at armchairs and to DQ, traded Bible quotes with random strangers on the Internets, started making up a TKD quiz game... there's a lot to be thankful for :) :) :)
There was also a lot for the kids to be thankful for at yesterday's D & D, in which Chris added some extra monsters to the regular retinue of orcs, goblins and other meanies the kids encountered. The battle was long and creative, but the enemy eventually weakened and finally, finally, the DM conceded defeat:
Chris: And with that, the Dire Turkey at last... gobbles no more.
Players: ::cheers::
Justin: You just got the stuffing kicked out of you!
