It is ugly out there. Dark as night by 4:45, cold, windy, freezing rain. Little ice pellets drove into my face when I went to pick up Justin and Daniel. Ick.

Man, bears are smart. Just hunker down in a cave and sleep it off.

When I left school this afternoon (at 3:15) it was already starting to get dusky. The early nightfall in the winter is one of the things I like least about living here.

But we have had almost NO snow as of yet, which is weird. No snow? In December? In Minnesota? It's a little eerie.

But we have had freezing rain. So I'm in total agreement with you about the bear thing.

Oh god, me too. It's bloody depressing. Like dreary blackness coming down to oppress your soul.

Um, OK, I think it may be time for me to stop watching LOTR ;)
