Dec. 12th, 2004 09:28 amHee! I've been over at
thursday100plus reading some of the stuff that's been posted in the last week or so. I'd told myself I wouldn't even touch any of it till after my papers were gone, but I guess that resolve has gone the way of the fragile morning mist in the terrible splendour of the noonday sun. Or the fragile morning oatmeal in the terrible splendour of the noonday dishwasher cycle. Or something.
Anyway, there's some very, very talented people out there. With some very original ideas, great turns of phrase, and spot-on characterizations. I have yet to read a dud in the bunch. Whee!
OK, now I go back to researching the precautionary principle for EnvLaw and apology for ADR. And send in my final Drafting assignment.
Edit: Oh, and both concerts went pretty well last night. Harmonia was good - we got just about everything we'd been worried about. The only big thing we missed was an entry that the sopranos have never, ever missed before. But I don't think it would have been noticeable to the audience. And the HBLN choir did pretty well. Our director was very funny, and we actually didn't flub too many lines. I think it also really helped that it was a free concert, because otherwise I would've felt pretty bad for the audience :) And Daniel sang, too! He seemed pretty thrilled to be up on stage. I think for the next concert we'll go over the music on our own a bit more, so he can spend most of his time just singing instead of looking at the music and only coming in for the parts he knows well.
