this just in:
Dec. 24th, 2004 08:17 pmMe! As in, I'm just in. To lj, that is. Or something.
Chris' mom's computer is the computer equivalent of the neighbourhood cat lady - old, unsteady, eccentric, and with an unfortunate tendency towards sudden loud incoherent rants directed at shrubbery. So we're notsomuch with the lj access right now.
Went to a walk-in clinic first thing in the morning, as Chris was feeling like warmed over crap and looking worse. The doc said he didn't have pneumonia, but was working his way up there.
Then went to Chris' mom's children's clothing store, Wee Canadians, and blissed out over gorgeous and rather expensive kids' stuff. One customer came in to buy a pair of slippers, and walked out with about $250 worth of stuff. We scored a couple of pants for the boys, and Judith threw in matching shirts for free. Our boys are looking spiffy :)
Now we're off to Uncle Jack's house for Christmas party. Jack will probably be the reason I will be back to dieting ASAP once we land in Ottawa.
Was going to write more, esp. about our actual child-free date yesterday, but we have to go.
Bye! Merry Christmas/holiday of your choice, everyone!

Date: 2004-12-25 10:19 pm (UTC)That was so hard to puntuate. It sounded so simple in my head, but translating it to text was surprisingly tough.
Anyhoo, Merry Christmas from all of us here! Maybe someday we'll hide out from our respective families and have the worlds funniest, most geeky, chaotic holiday together...
