Because I know everyone has been wondering about this, here's something I just learned: no major cast member in the Lord of the Rings trilogy has the letters q, x or z in their name.

'S OK, though. None of the major characters do either.

Y'know, they originally cast Qzyxyq Przybzy as Legolas, but then Orli slept with the casting director and poor Qzyxyq got the boot.

Lucky for me, at the same time as they got rid of Glorfindel the Elf (who actually takes Frodo to Rivendell in the book, instead of Arwen) they also got rid of the Wizard character Qzylion the Azure. The whole plotline about Gandalf not knowing whether Qzylion was in league with Saruman or not was just taken out. Phew.
