Day 1 Report:

Highlights:

• Universal Studios - Shrek 4D twice, Back to the Future ride, lots of walking and talking and looking and playing and OHMYGOD the kids are at such a completely and utterly PERFECT age for all of this
  
• Medieval Times - Daniel freaking out and me partly calming him down by slapping myself; our "Princess" scoring a red ribbon from our champion, the Red Knight; and me getting utterly ill. I think I need to go to bed and sleep a whole hell of a lot
  
• Justin and Daniel meeting Dora and Spiderman and Wolverine and Shrek
  
• Weird little cross-border stuff at the hotel in the morning
  
• It's way weird being Hispanic in LA. Way, way weird.

Asked Chris what was the best part of today. "Um... I think it would have to be waiting in line for Shrek the second time, and asking Daniel 'Is there anything else that we could do to make this a better day?' and him thinking and saying 'Um... no, everything is pretty much perfect.'"

BTW, what's happened to the lj User pics? I can only have the default pic. Can anybody else pick which pic to put with their posts?

On the plus side, I at least was not called a Communications mushroom today.

Dude, reading this made me smile like an idiot. Glad you lot are having such a great time (minus the sickness, of course). :)
