Jun. 1st, 2003 10:40 amI also love Chris' occasional snark.
I'm telling him about one of the most amazing things I've ever read on Law & Order ff.n (direct quote: "[they] had another date. This one was more succesful and they did plenty of kissing"). Then I tell him there's been a lot of reviews for it.
"What, 'Please stop?'"
"No, no! Like 'this is sogood! Ur amazzing!' and 'oooh! I luuuv this! More more!' and 'I luv this story even thogh I don't know any of the characters-'"
"That's because it's on past your bedtime, sweetie," Chris comments.
And on a totally unrelated note, I finally found the words to a poem all my friends and I used to recite on a regular basis at Queen's.
I remember her eyes
Across the yawning abyss of a week and a half.
I remember their brown glow
Lighting the room like a shock of azure sky.
Azure... blue... they were blue.
Right.
Blue as ocean water
In its deepest emerald hues.
Emerald... green... they were, they were green.
Greeny-blue... sort of aquamarine, with little, uh brown, brownish flecks-
OK, I remember her tits.

And Chris? Even more so.
Lemme guess...that story is that god-awful Rey/Mary Sue one, right?

Date: 2003-06-01 12:32 pm (UTC)Yeah. The Rey/Mary Sue. God help us all. I've nicknamed it The Big Ball of Wrong III - not to be confused with a Rey/Ed and a Rey/Mike I read a long time ago, Big Balls of Wrong I and II respectively.
And you know what? I think this one is actually bigger, rounder, and wronger than the first two. I didn't think it was possible ::expression of stunned disbelief::
Something to ponder:
Date: 2003-06-02 10:34 am (UTC)Small But Frightening Ball of Wrong: follow the dancing link! *backs off a few paces, ducks and covers, waits for explosion* Bwa ha ha.
