For some bizarre reason, I'm reminded of my Contracts prof from last year, who said something like, "It's hard to quantify the loss of something. For example, [while the plaintiff in this case sued in part over the lack of the promised yodelling in his crummy Swiss vacation package], some people might have been grateful for the lack of yodelling. Like I am always grateful for the lack of bagpipes."

I hadn't realized that in the last couple of weeks, I should have been feeling grateful for the lack of Admin and Const readings in my life. Holy god they are dull.

Went to visit Guy. His first chemo went OK, he feels pretty good so far. He's taking the same anti-nausea pills my mother had.

Going to Kingston this weekend for our goddaughter's birthday.

Finished the Dawn Treader last night. Cute conversation with the kids over it, Christian imagery, the story of Easter, and forgiveness of sinners. Will write more another day.

Feel free to stop by when you're in Kingston, if you find the time! Except Sunday, we're out that day to Easter Dinner.
