Date: 2005-04-10 09:26 pm (UTC)One reason I think it's kind of cool is that the snowglobe thing encapsulates so much of TV. Some guy once went through and connected all the snowglobe shows together and it was something like 50 shows. Eg, the senior doctors at St. Eligius once went to Cheers after a meeting, a little 5-minute cameo since both shows were set in Boston. So there goes Cheers. And with it, Frasier. Also, Drs. Roxanne Turner and Victor Ehrlich were both on HLOTS. So there goes HLOTS. And with it, shows HLOTS crosses with - like L&O (and therefore all its spinoffs) and the X-Files, since John Munch was on the X-Files.
And the list just grows and grows and grows. It's quite fascinating.
