Mother's Day redux

Pretty good day overall.

Flew our kite on the mesa, much to the kids' delight. It's so wonderful to live a three-minute walk away from a forest, sledding hill, and large open field. I took a couple of pictures, but unfortunately you can't see the other people who were up there flying their kites. Trust me, it was cool :)





BTW, Justin's wearing a cape :)

ninja_kat came over for a good long visit and got me all enthused about guitar playing and oh, my, my fingers are numb. And will doubtless become number as I go through most of the music she brought over tomorrow.

Went to the cemetery by myself. There were a lot of people there, no surprise.

...and I'll write about it some other day.
