Colour My World

So,
lonejaguar and
heathers are at Bluesfest, and I've got the top floor of my house back again because the painters are done, done, done! ... with the upstairs. They're currently tackling the bottom floor. Le sigh.
Mostly pretty pleased with how everything looks, although neither one of us is impressed with the kitchen colour. Somehow it didn't look as... pink, on the paint chip. It looked more yellowy-peachy. It was even called "whispering peach".
::shrug:: Whatever. It's still better than the colour that was there before, which Chris dubbed "Crappy White #12, from the Landlord & Tenant Colour Line, available exclusively from Sears."
And tomorrow there will be no painters, we will have the kitchen fully up and running and hopefully the dining room as well, and will have only the living room left to go. And Chris will be back from call and instead of trying to keep the kids quiet while he sleeps it off, we'll go do the touristy thing downtown :)
