Is it sick that my second thought after "Oh, God," was "at least they found her?" If it was, then I'm sick too because I was thinking the same thing.
I can't imagine anything worse than losing your kid. Every parent's worst nightmare. Literally the only nightmares I've ever had that have made me fear going back to sleep, and stayed with me for days afterwards, were those that involved serious harm to my kids. I can't imagine what that girl's parents are feeling right now.
