Let it be known that, for my first Law Review articles of the new term, I am not reading 55-page articles titled "Theoretical Legal Analysis of the Right of Provincial-Jurisdiction Administrative Boards to Review Budgetary Decisions of Municipalities Concerning Choice of Office Equipment Wholesale Suppliers of Office Equipment" and "Les implications légales de la législation pour ce qui concerne la survie d'affaires de ferme dans les secteurs des précipitations fortement variables" (Legal Implications of Legislation Concerning Farm Business Survival in Areas of Highly Variable Rainfall.)

I only wish I was reading one of those two. That would be really exciting. Gripping. Thrilling, even. Compared to what I am actually reading.

Oh dear god. Just kill me now.

Sometimes it helps me to get through reading deadly dull stuff if I imagine them read by the voice of Morgan Freeman or Ian McKellen or Patrick Stewart? With snorts of suppressed laughter at the most obtuse, jargon-laden sentences?

Just a thought.

What you said vs what I read

What I read: "Theoretical Legal Analysis of the Right of Provincial-Jurisdiction [eyes glaze over, humming sound heard in head] Just kill me now."

Office equipment. Office equipment would rank as exciting compared to your current task? Oh, my. ::sending you much virtual tea and sympathy::
