Just having way too much fun to go to bed

Had an awesome game tonight. Too bad we lost. But our regular goalie was out with a bad back, our fill-in (Lynn) did a great job but not quite as good as the regular, and, as somebody pointed out, we were doubly handicapped because Lynn is usually our centre defense and keeps us coordinated.

Plus, their goalie was amazing. We put so many close shots in, and she caught every one. We spent most of the game in their end, with our defense just sort of standing there at the half line, played really, really well as a team, incredibly pumped and aggressive, but still couldn't get a single score. So we ended on 1-0. C'est la vie.

The other team was a little snarky, too. Especially to their own players. I don't get that at all - how can you have fun when you know any stupid mistake of yours may earn you a verbal slap from your own teammates?

I'm pretty much done TC's character questions (just need to get the voices right), and sent Gypsum some for her characters. Gypsum, were you going to send some my way as well?

I really wonder how these people are in daily life. Are they the same, or are they shy folks who get run over daily by more aggressive coworkers and family, thus leaving them filled with bottled up hostility that they unleash on unsuspecting strangers?

Somebody should do a sociological study on this.
