Edit: Heh. I'm still finding out neat things as I'm writing the paper. The journalist who interviewed Trudeau during the Just Watch Me interview, the one who was so concerned about civil rights, and who pissed Trudeau off a bit by insisting it came down to a choice about what kind of country we wanted to live in, one with tanks and order or one with freedom and some risk, yadda yadda? Worked for the Conservatives for 20 years. Trudeau, who called folks bothered by tanks "weak-kneed" and "bleeding hearts," was a Liberal.
This is why I'm not done my bloody paper. Because I keep getting distracted. This is a civil liberties/politics/history enthusiast's dream project, and a mom-who-needs-to-get-this-done-before-homeschooling-both-kids-tomorrow's worst nightmare ;)
