• All done Aboriginal Law, except for the first draft of my paper, due either tomorrow or Wednesday.

• Am no longer a PowerPoint virgin. Presentation on Callihoo v. Canada went pretty well, I think, except for getting distracted by the Shiny and losing my place a couple times, and running slightly overtime.
  
  
• Sweetgrass Aboriginal Bistro => Native meets French cuisine. Unbelievably yummy food, but so tiny you're paying by the gram. Will definitely go back, possibly on the way home after a buffet lunch.
  
  
• This is just for curiosity's sake.
  
  I know many people on my flist are childfree, to various degrees of vehemence. In the last few weeks, I've heard/read about three formerly childfree women who are now pregnant. And it made me wonder... whaddup? What would make somebody change their mind about something that huge? And I'm not talking about somebody who, at age 14, claims she will never ever ever have kids for about a year, and then pops one out at age 30. I'm talking about somebody who's pretty much a lifelong card-carrying opt-outer on the whole child business, and then, outta the blue, is decorating a nursery.
  
  So my question is (and I know it's absolutely none of my business and y'all can tell me where to stick it and I won't feel offended): What would make you change your mind? I can imagine why "people in general" might. Why would you?
  
  BTW, I fully expect utter silence or a bunch of answers to the tune of "nothing on this earth" (and I swear I won't be insulted/disappointed if that happens) but just in case anybody out there has a clue... could you share? Because I'm sitting here quite baffled by it all.
