Justin went to his first-ever Science With Doris class last week. Doris is a home schooling mom who runs science classes in her home, once a week, for up to ten kids per class. They're fun and interesting and full of really, really, really neat stuff. She always starts the lesson with "Cool Facts", where the kids are invited to share with the class a cool science fact they've learned.

Justin was so damn cute. He waited while other kids said their facts, then put up his hand and explained, in italics, as is his wont, that "Every neuron has thousands of connections to thousands of other neurons, and there's millions of neurons and they all have so many connections it's crazy!!"

Doris smiled and said "Really cool fact!" and went on with the class while Justin sat with a soft little smile on his face, and repeated to himself in a whisper, "I had a really cool fact."
