Back in the library. I swear these ?&$* library keyboards are out to drive us insane - they're all different configurations, from English to French to in-between. Can't get your hands used to one set. Makes typing very difficult - you have to double check that you haven't typed &hello|> or *What&% instead of "hello!" and "What?"
Not feeling terribly well, rather dizzy and nauseous from the Premarin. I went up one flight of stairs and got a heart rate of 135. Sure hope this clears up. Soon.
Thanks to everybody for your good wishes and welcome backs :) It was a rather scary weekend, so it was nice to end it on an up-note.
For the record: I hate Property and Contracts. So much detail and rhetoric about what is and isn't property, what is and isn't 'foreseeable' or 'likely' or 'on the cards' or 'reasonably certain' or blah blah blah. Who cares

Date: 2003-09-15 09:11 am (UTC)And I'm sorry about Property and Contracts. I think I just got very, very lucky with Contracts because I liked the professor (he was entertaining) despite my dislike of the subject matter -- I can only imagine the misery of having both at once without the mitigation of someone entertaining at the front of the room. Phew. Good luck.

Date: 2003-09-15 02:05 pm (UTC)I'm totally in sympathy on Contracts and Property. I detested Property (and did quite badly at it, too). I'm now regretting it for two reasons: this Negotiation exercise, which requires an in-depth understanding of Native Title law, and the fact that my Property mark seems to be one of the many things putting off prospective employers... As a result, I still hate Property, although it may now be more out of resentment!

Did you do a lot of Native Title stuff in your Property class? Because apparently that's supposed to be a huge section in ours.
