I Am Woman, Hear Me Make Lists

Things accomplished:

1. Started Taekwon-do.
   
   
2. Swept my entire house from top to bottom.
   
   
3. Re-organized kids' room, including all their toys.
   
   
4. Got rid of 4 Crap Baskets.
   
   
5. Got my marks.¹
   
   
6. Made wills.²

Still to be done:

1. The rest of the Crap Baskets.
   
   
2. Finish current WiP.
   
   
3. Arrange outings for next week.
   
   
4. Finish Geography Review Weeks.
   
   
5. Sell car.
   
   
6. Paint clouds.
   
   
7. Figure out career plans.
   
   
8. Send those letters/e-mails that have been in my Drafts folder forfreakingever.
   
   
9. Hem uniforms & repair repairables.
   
   
10. Figure out kids' summer schedule.

Dang, it's depressing when the To Do is so much longer than the Done Did.



¹: B+ all around! Must admit I'm a bit disappointed to have only gotten a B+ in Family, because I really thought I'd totally aced the exam. My disappointment is tempered by four five things:

1. B+! Nothing to sneeze at!
   
2. Family Law, what do I care, I'd already vowed never ever ever to practice it
   
3. Am thinking that perhaps my lack of A was due to the fact that for about 75% of the cases I only read the summary and not the whole text, because I got tired of wrestling with QuickLaw.
   
4. B+ in ABORIGINAL LAW!! The one with the PAPER!! The one I might actually want to practice someday!!
   
5. B+! Nothing to sneeze at!

Excellent list of Done Things. Bonus points for the Crap Baskets!!!111! God, how I hate having to do that one.

Thank you for the nudge, also. We SO need to redo our wills, especially in respect to who gets the kids if we both die (less of an unlikely thing, now that we get a lot more "date nights"; driving home from dinner on a Saturday night, after other people on the road have been drinking? Probably the riskiest thing I do in the course of my life.) Everybody in the family (both sides) knows that Rachel and her hubby get the kids, so they can stay close to their friends here, but the paperwork still says they go to Estel's sister & hubby (with their house already uber-full of children!) sixty miles away. Nobody, his family or mine, would want anything to interfere with the kids staying with Rachel, now that she's married & kidded herself. But! I don't want to leave everyone with the problem of convincing the government that really, really, everyone knows that's what we meant.

TaeKwon Do! Yay! I practiced for two years (got up to red stripe) and LOVED it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

What school are you going to?

Congrats! on the grades. And you're very welcome for the beta bit. Law isn't anything that I will ever study so I find reading the papers you post on-line interesting.
