Ohgod it's happening again. Livejournal is acting as draconian judge, jury and executioner and swooping down in the night to delete random accounts of persons who have posted so-called "obscene" pictures, with no warnings, no appeals, no regard for due process or freedom of speech.

Alternatively, they are carrying out their duty to prevent users of their services from violating their clearly worded Terms of Service, as well as their duty to comply with US law preventing the dissemination of pornography involving persons below the age of eighteen.

You decide which, or pick a point in between. I'll be over there, playing Sudoku. Oh and in case everybody packs up over here and moves to Greatestjournal, I can be found at http://ciroccoj.greatestjournal.com/.



On the plus side, I do get to use my Yuck icon over this, so that makes me happy :)

Oh no idea. I think this time it's just individuals going to the abuse team and pointing towards naughty pictures. I did see one of the pictures in question, but I can't tell you much about it because my mind's eye got doused in bleach for about an hour or so. I can tell you that one of the pictures (the one I wisely didn't look up) featured incest, yay. But hey, it was OK, because it was twincest and that's more like masturbation anyway (?), and the other featured a student/teacher pair but the student was over 18. Or something.

Brain hurts now. Mind's eye thankfully still blurry.
