Links! More fannish links! Because we just finished watching Bridge to Terabithia and although it was beautiful, I am feeling rather bummed.

So I've got two vidlinks and four picturelinks, and since they all contain spoilers for Deathly Hallows, I will put them behind a cut-link because my husband is so lame he still hasn't read Deathly Hallows, and most probably won't until he reads it to the kids at night, which, considering it's taking him about six months per book and he's on book #4 right now, could be right after movie #7 comes out. ::sigh::

OK, so, first, vidlinks, the first one courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] a_dawn:

And, um, I just watched those vids right after watching Bridge to Terabithia. This was probably unwise. Ah well, live and learn.

Piclinks, all from [livejournal.com profile] seviet:

  • Still Fighting, a scene from chapter 32, The Elder Wand.

  • Apparently Rowling mentioned once in an interview that although she'd heard many fans were convinced that if any of the Trio were going to end up together, it would be Harry and Hermione, she really couldn't understand why on earth they thought so. She had, she pointed out, placed so many clues throughout the books pointing to the fact that it was Hermione and Ron who would end up together, that it seemed the only way you could remain ignorant of the fact was if you were waiting for an anvil to fall out of the sky to make it clear to you.

So, [livejournal.com profile] seviet, being delightfully suggestible, decided (upon a friend's urging) to draw, at the conclusion of the series, a picture called Big Damn Anvil. It's a compilation of Ron & Hermione moments throughout all seven books (I believe there's about 25 scenes illustrated here) that kinda point you all in the same direction. Very cute. She's even got them referenced and everything, it's totally insane. Glorious insanity, though :)

  • Another Big Damn Anvil, of a completely different nature, from chapter 11, The Bribe.

  • "I open at the close", from chapter 34, The Forest Again.
