ciroccojYup. I'm in Napanee, Ontario, whose main claim to fame is being the home town of the Complicated girl.
We're visiting our friends Todd & Susan, who are our kids' godparents, and whose children are our godchildren (Chris once described his relationship to Susan as "So I guess that makes her my... godwife"), and whom we haven't seen in way, way, waaay too long. Their little guy was barely talking last time we saw him. He's five now, and is almost riding a two-wheeler. And his sister is nine now - and one of her school pictures makes her look like a teenager. ::sigh::
Random quote: "Yeah, you can do the winery tour around here. Just don't taste-test anything. We did, and then we went to a beer brewery to wipe out the taste. I mean, come on, man, it's Southeastern Ontario, it's a great place to grow apples but you've got no frickin' business trying to grow wine grapes, you know? You're lucky you got the Niagara region, take it and be grateful and quite while you're ahead."
