From batita, a blast from the past that's a little unsettling, in that oh my god my youth is being orchestrated, but still fun:
A mullato, an albino/A mosquito my libido
On a related note:
Pay no attention to the title, it's not Goyle to the Rescue, because I doubt Hetfield and Ulrich read Harry Potter
Come again? Can I have the first soundtrack and while it's very very good, I don't much want to pay another $20 for 60 minutes of driving but end up using 40 percent more fuel and increase toxic emissions by 400 percent
Slow down
It’s not just dangerous but speeding wastes fuel. Highway speeds over 100 km/h drastically impact fuel efficiency -- cars travelling at 120 km/h instead of 100 km/h use 50 percent more hydrocarbons and 31 percent more nitrogen oxides.
Tune-up!
Be sure to provide your vehicles with frequent tune-ups. A well-maintained vehicle performs better on the road, decreases maintenance costs and improves fuel efficiency.
Smooth move
Changing the oil regularly is another double bonus for your car and the environment: when your engine is running in top condition, it is life out of balance and that imbalance is sucking something out of the Burrow, won't it?"
"You've got to read this book. It's probably somewhat outdated, as it came out in 1981, but the politics & geography geek in me is enthralled by this map:
The premise is that our current political boundaries between countries and states are meaningless, and that a better organization of North America would be one in which the High Court of Australia held that where indigenous claim to the land as "sovereignty", stating that "[a]ny shift of interpretation on the question of why Lucas did the techie doodads and tweaks.
Justin hasn't seen Ep VI in years; the boys don't much like seeing, mostly for aesthetic reasons, but very little short of public elimination of bodily waste really offends me. It sure seems to make a lot of time talking to my sisters, and in between (snorkeling) and round and round.
Today we decided we'd regrouped enough and went driving. Up north to Spencer Beach, preceded by a Visitor Centre that we just sort of a short prayer that I thought of for Justin.
May the mysterious power which surrounds us that is God bless Justin. Keep him safe, give him courage, health, prosperity, knowledge, love and happiness. May the spirit that gives us life help Justin to help others and to reach his full potential, whatever that may be.
Welcome to Earth, Justin.
Amen.
Everyone: Amen.
Jimena: OK, I'm gonna ask for Kleenex.
Jimena: Do we want to have 1 percent for research and development, or 100 percent?"

Feeling rather cynical about the whole thing right now, actually. And rather embarrassed, as a Canadian, because, well, Canada raises Kyoto eyebrows by killing EU summit
Brief excerpt:
OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper's ruling conservatives say the targets, agreed to by the previous Liberal government, are unattainable.
The leader of one of the grownups who was desperately trying to not do the exact same time, so we get to talk but can't hear each other.
Chris: Ooh, good idea!

In other news, my car remains dead.

I can't quite believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are so many reasons I love Chris. Here are two:

... and if that didn't send you screaming to the hills, or if you read it and thought oooh, I wonder what lj could come up with for my auto-post, click here to spread the insanity :)
