Dear Liberal, Conservative, NDP, Green and "Other" party faithful:


We are going to vote. Stop calling us to remind us to do so. We know who we are going to vote for. Stop calling us to extol the virtues of your particular candidate.

Also: John "Aptly-Named" Tory? We realize there's a doctor in the family. We realize that should mean we are affluent and thus more likely to vote for your party. But we are never, ever going to vote for you. Ever. Really. No, really. Stop calling. STOP. CALLING!!

I would totally sponsor you (or whatever we do up here) for Canadian citizenship anyway, but if you promised to run for office I'd even consider asking Chris if he'd mind getting divorced for a while, so I could marry you until you got citizenship ;)

Me, when the Rs called me waaaay back in 1992 to get me to vote for Bush the Elder? I told him that I was voting for Jerry Brown and that I hoped Pat Buchanan beat Bush. That stopped the phone calls ::g::

Not that I'm a Pat B fan, but I always thought that the reason he and Ralph Nader were left out of the 2000 debates was that they'd've wiped the floor with Bush and Gore. That would've been a debate.
