Did something right :)

Daniel goes to Cubs camp today, and what with me being in the middle of studying, Chris decides to take both boys with him to drop Daniel off.

It's a long drive. It's now dinnertime. They're in Perth. Chris figures he and Justin should have dinner at McDonald's before driving home.

Justin agrees, but asks him to call Mama first. That way, if Mama's busy making them a nice dinner, they won't miss out on it by eating at McDonald's. They'll just drive straight home.

I love my kid so much. He's eight years old and loves food and McDonald's is incredibly yummy, but: call Mama first!

I love your kids. Maybe not as much as my own nephews and nieces or other kids I know IRL, but they come a pretty close second... which isn't bad for kids I've never met.

I love my kids. They drive me crazy, but then just when I least expect it, they go and do something adorable :) :)
