Come on, vamonos
Oct. 8th, 2003 09:24 amFeeling incredibly relieved. Camping OK.
Justin's playing his brand-new Dora the Explorer game. Kids are so neat - so very transparent. I told him we had a surprise for him, and he kept asking what it was all morning. Then about twenty minutes ago I finally had everything set up (bread baking, laundry washing, dishwasher loaded, etc) and I installed the game.
One look and Justin was in love. He loves watching Dora on TV, and seeing her come to life on his computer screen is thrilling the heck out of him. I think he's said, "This is a GREAT surprise!!" about five times so far :)
Have to finish off my ADR assignment (ugh!) and then we're going down to Fabricland to pick up cloth for the Halloween costumes. I really feel like I should have my head examined for wanting to do this, but Justin's so enthused at the thought of making his own costume that it's hard to feel anything but happy about it.
Oh, and the "one of these things is not like the others" meme?
I guess I don't come across as a sailor, because you guys guessed it. It was #5. Although I probably could have done it, since I lived in Kingston for 11 years and sailing from Wolfe Island (across from Kingston) to Watertown would've taken about 10 minutes.
