The icon isn't a reflection of how I feel, BTW; I just don't get enough opportunities to use it, and hey, who knows, I may have failed despite my best efforts, so woo-hoo! Icon time!

Anyway, I'm done. And it's a good thing I like exams, because five hours into it I started to get really bored. Seven hours of business, wills, and real estate law? Trust me, it's not nearly as fun as it sounds. ::sigh::

But! I'm done! W000t!

Oh! I didn't realize you meant TODAY! So is that IT then, or is there an essay portion or part II portion tomorrow? Or are you DONE DONE DONE?!?!?!

I wish I could be there with you to celebrate!

DONE DONE DONE!!! And it feels so good to be done!

Yeah, the Bar in Ontario is two 7-hour days of multiple choice. It's set up so you can do them 6 days apart, but as I was standing in line for hours back in May (or June? don't remember) when I did Part I, I found out that a whooole lot of other folks were going to do Part I then and Part II in November. It sounded like a terrific idea :)

So glad I did, too. I've had six extra months to study for this damn thing, and I still may have failed it. Mostly because it was a handy-dandy 1000-page summary of Everything I Ever Never Had the Slightest Wish to Know About in law.

I wish I could be there with you to celebrate!
Hee! Me too - you would've had yummy Thai food!

Congratulations on surviving! I've never done a seven hour exam and quite frankly I never want to.

Thanks!

And actually it's not so bad. The need to visit the ladies' room can get annoying, but otherwise, I've spent far less pleasant blocks of seven hours. And we did it at a conference centre, which was much nicer than the local sports centre where I wrote in May. Writing in a hockey arena with a few hundred stressed out folks and getting a Kitkat bar for lunch, versus a lovely auditorium with about eighty, and a $13 buffet lunch. Not too shabby ;)

Thanks! Still feeling kinda high over it :D :D :D

Heh, not bravery - just no choice. The Barrister one had Civil, Criminal, Constitutional, and Family. Solicitor had Business, Real Estate, and Wills. The Wills one was occasionally almost interesting. The other two never even came close, and Business damn near killed me. Ask me to explain rollovers, paid-up capital, preferred shares, and securities, and I'll just roll into a fetal ball and whimper.

Still. Done! Done done done! And I won't know until January whether or not I have to rewrite it. Until then, out of sight = out of mind ;)
