I'm a ginormous geek, I know, but I can't stop squeeing about this:

Presidential inauguration Fullscreen Gigapan edition: AKA see if you can read the music on the band's stands.

I'm not kidding. It's a shot of the presidential inauguration, with the huuuuuuge crowd in attendance, and most are nothing but little dots. Obama's a tiny speck. Pan in, and you can almost see the expressions on the faces of the people waay out by the water. Bloody amazing.



Also a little scary. If you ever attend an event like this, don't pick your nose. People all over the world will be watching your technique. ::gulp::
