Chris and Justin are bonding over migraines. Justin's first Cubs camp of the year, and I had to go pick him up, at midnight, in the rain, because his head and tummy felt awful.
My migraines turned out to be linked to chocolate, and not eating it anymore has left me doing tremendously better. I had to eliminate everything with the word cocoa in it, ie, no dark, no milk, no white. I'm also told that cheese is a trigger for some people. (And red wine, but that's unlikely to be the case here!)
Maybe as a homeschooling project, you can talk about health and allergies, and have them keep food diaries, and judge how they feel and see if they can find patterns that might indicate a reaction. For me, the headaches would come the day after the chocolate consumption, so making the connection was not easy at first.
