Just leaving a note: I enjoyed our exchanges at linguaphiles so much, I thought I'd add you. Perhaps we can exchange some French? Or rather, can I try my horrible French on you? :)
Wow - better than mine, I think.
::sigh:: Tres rusty!
By the way, how do you get the accented letters? I always have to cut & paste, and since I'm none too sure of the accents in the first place I normally don't bother :(
Whoops, I can't believe I made an error like that. I meant "Je n'étudiais pas!"
I actually made my own keyboard because I hated the Windows layout. Depending on which OS you're running, there's an option to "add a language/keyboard." In Windows, locate the Regional and Language icon in Control Panel, and you should see Languages, then it'll walk you through it. I don't remember how to do it on a Mac, it's definitely something you can google :)
If you have Windows and find that you hate the layout, let me know and I'll email you my layout...so much easier! ;)
Ooh, this is a good place to apologise to you about the wankfest I inadvertently caused in that post. I'd apologise there, only I'd rather minimise my presence there.
Please don't worry about it :) Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I can see where your ideas came from (and honestly, I think there really is some validity to it).
